We develop comprehensive specifications for each material, fixture and fitting, while working closely with our clients and suppliers to select each product.

  • We develop custom bespoke joinery designs, such as cabinetry, shelving, seating and fixtures to seamlessly integrate into the architectural details and the specific needs and aesthetics of each room. These pieces are designed with our clients in mind, so each project is developed differently depending on the lifestyles and needs of each client. We select appropriate materials for each joinery piece based on durability, aesthetics and specific requirements. This joinery documentation is fully detailed for construction, including material specifications, notes, hardware details and dimensions.

  • We are in constant discussion throughout the design process with Architects and Consultants to ensure our designs meet the regulatory standards. We are familiar with all local, state and national building codes and regulations, such as structural integrity, fire safety, electrical systems, plumbing and accessibility. These regulations extend to furniture and fixtures, especially in commercial spaces, so we can provide all necessary documentation to comply with these codes.

  • We work with environmental and historical material requirements for each design project, with an understanding of local regulations, environmental sustainability practices, and historical preservation principles. We collaborate with experts in these fields to ensure compliance and the successful execution of projects in this context.

  • When working on our projects, we collaborate with various professionals and specialists such as Architects, Engineers, Consultants, Builders, Suppliers, landscapers and lighting specialists to name a few.   • We develop the selection of hard finishes, materials and fittings with our clients once the overall design concept is understood. We consider factors like the purpose of each space, budget constraints and any specific design preferences to determine the most effective and aesthetic finish for each designed area. This collaboration with our clients transforms each project into a design that is uniquely theirs and something they can enjoy functionally and aesthetically.

  • These schedules are detailed documents that outline all the materials, products, and equipment to be used in a project. They are an essential reference for Catt Interiors, architects, contractors, builders and project managers to ensure that the designed space aligns with the original concept and specifications and is built accordingly.

  • We have solid relationships with an array of suppliers and industry specialists, to bring our clients the leading materials, appliances and fixtures for their projects. We are in regular contact with these suppliers to be able to request specifications, quotes and delivery coordination for all products specified on a project.

  • From the start of each project, we begin the discussion of furniture procurement with our clients. We work with suppliers, our clients and material specialists to develop a full selection of furniture items, including loose lighting, sofas, chairs, tables and outdoor pieces. We may also curate our clients existing furniture if this is required and work in new pieces from our suppliers.

  • Furthering on from the selection and procurement of all the furniture pieces, we provide a full schedule of each piece to maintain a reference for the procurement and delivery after construction has ceased. Once we have fully procured a selection of furniture, we develop a layout and arrangement of the pieces. This provides us with a spatial layout in which we can build our electrical selections and layouts, creating an efficient, functional and aesthetically pleasing environment.

  • The selection and custom designing of rugs and carpets can transform the look and feel of all designed spaces. We work with our clients for the selection and in many cases the creation of bespoke rugs and carpets. We collaborate with our carpet suppliers and clients to provide a full service from design through to construction of each rug and carpet piece for each design project.

  • We offer a bespoke art curatorial service with our clients, with a personal and dedicated approach. We are committed to understanding our client’s tastes, aspirations and lifestyles to curate and procure specific artworks. We research and source artworks to compliment our designs and arrange framing, shipping and installation.
